This site was created to help the acro community share it's knowledge with one another.

I attended JuggleNYC's Juggle This! festival in 2009. On the second day, after the big saturday night show, many of the performers came to the open juggling session and gave free workshops. The stars of the previous night's show were now working directly with their fans giving them tips and pointers on the very tricks they were using in their show. This openness continually inspires me.

While doing some acro with a couple of new friends Francis Julien, formerly of Cirque du Soleil, came over and gave us some great advise and, as more people came over, an impromptu workshop. This was just another example of this incredible openness in the community.

When I got home I still wanted to know more yet was unable to find a comprehensive site online that could teach me. I started Acrobalance.org, in the spirit of that openness, so we might share this art with each other.
