Chair
From Acrobalance
This is a great introductory move to get someone used to how to balance with a partner. This move is also known to some as the thigh stand or standing on knees.

Mounting
Start with the base standing bent at the knees and hips with back upgright and knees together. Have the flyer and the base face each other and hold hands in circus grip, then have the flyer step up onto the base's knees. When stepping up the flyer should make sure to press their weight down into the shins of the base and not push away the base. When the flyer steps up it is good to think of stepping up and out of a swimming pool. Once up the flyer and base can slowly extend their arms and lean away from each other.
Dismounting
Have both the flyer and base bend at the elbows and pull towards each other while maintaing balance. When the flyer is upright they can step down with one foot then the other and, finally, releasing their grip.
