Mounting

The base and flyer stand next to each other, facing opposite directions. They each put their nearest hand to the other on the other person's hip. They reach their far hands over their hands and hold the other's hand in V grip. The flyer then 'cartwheels' up onto the bases's shoulders, as they both push on each other's hips and pull on the other's hand. They can then release their hands and put pressure against each other's upper arms to keep balanced, as well as pushing back on each other's upper backs with their heads.

To get into this pose with the flyer standing takes a lot of power from the flyer, and the base needs to bend their knees to 'scoop' under the flyer as he or she cartwheels up! This pose can also be balanced without using arms at all.
